Game Rules

Casino Technology released two versions of the Combat Romance slot. They use different technologies: flash and html5. Therefore, the design of the interface and the ways to configure the game parameters are different. Also, each version has a different number of paylines which affects the range of bets.

The Combat Romance slot uses two types of the game currency credits and coins. The bet per line is fixed at 1 coin. In the html5 version of the slot, you can change the coin value in the Total Bet section or use the "-" and "+" buttons in the settings tab of the Bet section. Total Bet the total stake per spin, that is, how many credits will be debited from your account when you launch the reels.

In the flash version of the slot, the cost of coins changes approximately the same way: in the Total Bet window, using five Bet buttons (1-5, 5-10, 10-20, 20-20 and 20) in the Game Menu section or with the Bet button on the control panel.

25 paylines are available in the game that uses the html5 technology. There are numerical values for the game with 5 active paylines found on both sides of the reels. You can activate up to 25 paylines using the "-" and "+" buttons in the user settings menu (the icon with a gear). As for the flash version, it offers only 10 paylines which are fixed in addition. So, the buttons for setting this parameter are not active.

You get a reward for combinations that are on the same active payline and consist of the same symbols. It is important that the symbols land on neighbouring reels starting from the leftmost reel. These rules do not apply to Scatter symbols that pay you a reward for landing anywhere in the game window. In the paytable (the "i" icon or Pay Table, depending on the version of the game), payouts are displayed in credits with a 1:1 ratio of credits and coins.

You can launch the reels in the html5 versions of the slot in two modes manual and automatic. In the former case, just click the Spin button. After a regular spin, you can try to multiply your reward for a spin in the double-or-nothing game.

You can activate auto spins in the user settings menu. In total, two variants are available either 5 or 100 auto spins. In this case, the settings specified in the Bet and Lines sections will be used. During auto spins, you can't play the risk game. You can finish auto spins by clicking the Stop button.

The flash version features only the manual game mode. To activate it, you need to click the Start button on the control panel. During a spin, the Stop word comes up on the button and if you click it again, you will stop the reels faster.

In both versions of the game, your reward is displayed in the Win section and the information about what payline earned you the win and its size is shown above the control panel. The balance is displayed in the Credit section.

Symbols and Payouts of the Combat Romance Slot

Two special symbols Wild and Scatter come up in the game window. In addition to payouts in credits, they activate bonuses. A detailed description of each symbol is shown in the paytable, which opens after you click the "i" button or the Pay Table button, depending on the version of the game. Sizes of rewards are the same in tables, except the payout for a combination with the Scatter symbol. The winning amount is calculated taking into account the total bet per spin which may differ in the flash and html5 versions of the slot.

The Wild symbol is presented as two fighter jets on the red background. When coming up on the payline, it replaces the missing symbol to form a winning combination. At the same time, the reward for such a combination is doubled. The only symbol that Wild can not replace is Scatter. Wild combinations pay rewards when playing with the maximum cost of a coin: 2 Wilds 400 credits, 3 Wilds 2,000 credits, 4 Wilds 20,000 and 5 Wilds 200,000 credits.

The Scatter symbol is an aircraft carrier. It pays a reward without binding to paylines. When collecting three or more symbols, you will gain access to the bonus game with free spins. The Scatter itself also earns payouts in credits. When playing with the maximum value of a coin, it is: 2 Scatters 1,000 credits, 3 Scatters 2,500, 4 Scatters 10,000 and 5 Scatters 250,000 credits.

The denominations of playing cards earn the smallest rewards in the Combat Romance slot. The minimum number of symbols in a combination is three. Having set the highest value of a coin, you will earn in credits: 10, J and Q 100, 400 and 2,000. The K and A 100, 600 and 3,000.

The maximum reward is paid for the following symbols: seagulls 200, 800 and 4,000 credits; helicopter, fighter and bomber —200, 1,000 and 5,000 credits.

Female and male pilots form winning combinations starting from two symbols on the payline. With the maximum cost of a coin, you get for them 40, 300, 2,000 and 10,000 credits.

Double-or-Nothing

Any reward earned with an inactive Auto Play function can be placed as a bet in the double-or-nothing game. It starts by clicking the x2 button (for the html5 version) or the Double Up button (for the flash version) which replaces the settings menu icon. A new window displays a playing card face down and buttons to select its colour or suit. Your task is to correctly guess the colour of the card and double your rewards or the suit of the card and increase your winnings four times.

You cannot place more than 10 times your total bet. If you wish, you can risk not all your winnings for the spin but only a half of it using the ½ or the Half Gamble button, depending on the version of the slot. At any time before selecting a colour or a suit, you can take your reward and return to the main game by clicking the Spin button (a blue button with the palm for the html5 version and the Take Win button for the flash).

A line with 10 previous cards is found above the cards. Three info sections are below the card:

• Suit gamble to win a possible win for the guessed suit
• Colour gamble to win possible reward for the guessed colour
• Gamble amount the amount placed as a bet

Bonus Game and Free Spins

You can activate the bonus round of the Combat Romance slot by collecting three, four or five Scatter symbols. At the same time, it does not matter where exactly the symbols land on the reels. Initially, you get 15 free spins and the multiplier of x3. If you collect from three to five Scatter symbols, you win an additional 15 free spins and raise the multiplier for your payouts up to x5.

You can collect Scatter symbols and earn additional free spins an infinite number of times. Yet the multiplier for payouts will be fixed at x5. Free spins are played in automatic mode: while the bonus round runs, the risk game is unavailable. The number of paylines and the coin value correspond to those parameters that were set for the latest spin in the main game. At the end of the round, if your winning amount does not exceed 10 times your total bet, it can be placed as a bet in the double-or-nothing game.
