Venezia d'Oro by EGT is a slot with five reels and 243 winning patterns. As the game session goes on, a wild and a scatter are available and you can try to double your winnings in the risk game. In the demo mode credits are used for betting and they are awarded as the slot loads. The maximum payout for five Scatter symbols is 25,000 credits at the highest bet.

Principles and rules of the game
When you start the Venezia d'Oro slot for the first time, select the number of combination patterns and place a bet per spin. You can view the pay table by clicking the i sign and read the help section by hitting the Help button.
Unlike most of the slots, Venezia d'Oro uses winning patterns rather than paylines. Depending on the selected number of winning patterns the game screen changes. So, if you choose 3 ways pay, on the bar at the left hand side of the screen, the first reel and the middle row across the remaining 4 reels will become active. Depending on the number of patterns selected, the bet level changes too:
- 3 patterns — the minimum bet is 1 credit, the maximum bet is 20 credits
- 9 patterns — the minimum bet is 3 credits, the maximum bet is 60 credits
- 27 patterns — the minimum bet is 7 credits, the maximum bet is 140 credits
- 81 patterns — the minimum bet is 15 credits, the maximum bet is 300 credits
- 243 patterns — the minimum bet is 25 credits, the maximum bet is 500 credits
You can select the bet by clicking the control panel buttons. Please note that by clicking the button you immediately start the reels. This is why you had better select the required number of winning patterns. The combinations are counted from left to right. The symbols of the combination should be on one of the active patterns to award the win.
The win amount for different combos is calculated based on the bet for regular symbols and the total bet for Scatter. The pay table has the win amounts in credits. You can select different bet levels and the number of winning patterns to view the amount of your win. In this case you cannot start the reels.
You can start the reels in an Autoplay mode by clicking the Autoplay button (the sign of round arrows with a triangle in the centre). However, the bet level and the number of winning patterns previously selected by the player, will apply to each spin. You can start a single spin by clicking the bet button.
Symbols and payouts
Among the symbols available in the Venezia d'Oro slot, Scatter and Wild are of special interest. You can see their detailed description in the pay table and in the game rules found in the Help tab.
The Wild symbol featuring a gondola appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4. Its main feature is to turn into the missing symbols to form a combination. So, the Wild gondola symbol can replace several symbols at once. However, it does not affect Scatter combinations.
Scatter featuring a river bridge appears on all reels and awards two types of bonus features. First, you can get winnings if you play with the maximum bet and on all 234 patterns:
- 3 symbols pay 2,500 credits
- 4 symbols — 5,000 credits
- 5 symbols — 25,000 credits
These combinations will award winnings if one of the Scatter symbols lands on the first reel. This means that unlike most of the slots, in this one the scatter fully inherits the rules of forming combos from the basic symbols. Another bonus feature is free spins and a bonus round.
Regular symbols can be divided into two types based on the amount of the winnings and their visual display. Low-paying card icons refer to the first type. The minimum combination of three symbols will pay you just 100 credits for 9 or 10 and 200 credits for Jack, Queen, King and Ace. Combinations of four symbols will award slightly larger payouts:
- 9 will pay 200 credits
- 10, Jack, Queen — 300 credits
- King — 400 credits
- Ace — 600 credits
Combinations of five symbols will earn: 2,000 credits if you collect 9, 10, Jack or Queen and 4,000 credits if you have King or Ace.
The symbols of the second type pay much larger winnings:
- Lantern pays 300, 700 and 6,000 credits respectively
- Mask — 400, 1,000 and 6,000 credits
- Column — 600, 2,000 and 16,000 credits
- Townswoman — 700, 2,000 and 16,000 credits
- Townsman — 1,000, 2,000 and 20,000 credits
Risk game
Landing of any winning combo on the reels of Venezia d'Oro lets you try your luck in a risk game. By clicking the Gamble button a new window will open in the bottom right corner of the screen. You will see a face-down card and two buttons to choose either Red or Black colours.
The idea of the risk game is to guess the colour of the card and to get the double win for a spin. The risk is that if your guess is wrong, the current winnings are lost. When you play at the maximum bet and with all 243 winning patterns, no more than 15,000 credits can be used in Gamble.
You can collect your winnings and go back to the main game at any point before making a guess of the colour.
Free spins and jackpot
If you collect at least three Scatters starting with the first reel, you will have access to the Free Spins bonus round. You can choose one of the options of the round:
- 20 free spins with the multipliers of x2, x3 or x5
- 15 free spins with the multipliers of x3, x5 or x8
- 10 free spins with the multipliers of x5, x8 or x10
- 8 free spins with the multipliers of x8, x10 or x15
- 5 free spins with the multipliers of x10, x15 or x30
The multipliers apply only to the combinations with the Wild symbol. If another three Scatters land in the right combination on the reels, you will get extra free spins as soon as you have no free spins left.
If during free spins the lantern symbol drops on reels 1 and 5, you will win an award which is 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 50 times the total bet.
If you play the real version of the slot, you can get access to the jackpot feature at the end of any spin. A new window with 12 face-down cards will open up and you should open these cards. Your task is to reveal three identical card suit symbols. This will award the jackpot corresponding to the revealed suit.
