Principles of the game
As the lines in the Zodiac Wheel slot machine are fixed, you should just place a bet before the first launch of the reels. You can do it by clicking one of the preset bets from 5 to 100 credits on the control panel, found at the bottom of the screen.
The cost of each spin is calculated by the formula: the bet per line, multiplied by 5 (the number of lines). If you open the pay table, (the 'i' icon on the control panel), the payout for each combination of symbols in credits will immediately appear here. By switching bets (in this case, the reels are not spinning), you can learn how the win is changing for each combination.
A combination will be winning, if at least three identical symbols line up from left to right. The exception is the symbol of the astronomer, that earns you a reward for as few as two symbols on the line. All pictures must be on the neighbouring reels. If several winning combinations land, the payout is awarded for the highest-paying one.
You can start the reels in two modes, by clicking the button with the bet manually or automatically. In the first case, you have to click the Bet X button (where X is the number of credits) each time. In the second case, auto spins will be activated. After each winning combination they stop to give you an opportunity to decide whether you want to participate in the risk game or to continue the spins.
Two information windows are found on the control panel. Balance — displays the game account and the amount of credits, available for betting. Last Win — shows the amount of the win for the latest spin. By clicking the Help button, you can open the help section with the detailed description of the slot machine.
Symbols and payouts of the Zodiac Wheel slot
The Zodiac Wheel slot machine has only three special symbols: two Scatters and a Wild. Once landed on the second, third or fourth reels, the Wild symbol, featured as the zodiac wheel, replaces all symbols, except for two Scatters. For example, if it landed on the second reel in the third row, a Jack and a book – Scatter are above it. In this case, the Jack will also turn into the Wild symbol. This will help form longer combinations and will increase the odds of completing several combinations.
The book – Scatter appears on all reels and earns you the payout in credits for at least three landed symbols. It is not important exactly where these symbols land. They are counted just for appearing on the reels. The Scatter symbol appears only on the first, third and fifth reels. You can only get the award for three simultaneously landed symbols.
All combinations with the Scatter symbol are paid according to the following formula: the symbol factor, multiplied by the total bet. While for regular symbols it is as follows: the symbol factor, multiplied by the bet per line.
Regular symbols in the Zodiac Wheel slot are subdivided into two groups – the playing card pictures and objects or people, related to astronomy. When playing at the maximum bet with the total bet of 500 credits for different combinations, you will get:
- For Jack, Queen, King and Ace – 200, 600 and 2,000 credits
- For the globe — 400, 1,000 and 4,000 credits
- For the telescope and the girl — 800, 2,000 and 10,000 credits
- For the astronomer — 200, 1,000, 4,000 and 60,000 credits
As you can see in the pay table, you will need a combination of four symbols to recoup the total cost of one spin of the reels in most cases. Alternatively, you will need several combinations of three symbols.
Jackpot and the risk game
The size of the jackpots and their priority vary depending on the playing card suit. Clubs earn the smallest jackpot and spades get the biggest one. In the full version of the Zodiac Wheel slot machine, you don't need to collect specific symbols to open up the Jackpot Cards Mystery Bonus. It can be randomly triggered after a spin is finished.
You will see a new window with 12 cards face down. You have to select cards until three identical symbols appear. Depending on the type of pictures, you get one of the jackpots.
The risk game in the Zodiac Wheel slot is available after the appearing of any winning combination, if it does not exceed 3,500 credits. Click the Gamble button, then a new window opens. Your task is to correctly guess the colour of the card, red or black, by clicking the Red/Black buttons. If you guess the colour right, the win for the latest spin is doubled. If you guess wrong, the win will be lost, and you will return to the main screen.
