Blackjack French Game Rules

This blackjack game is a free demo version of the real game by iSoftBet. So, you use virtual credits to place bets and receive prizes. The rest corresponds to the full version. 

Placing the bet

The gameplay starts with configuring the bet for one round. To place a bet, you need to choose a chip with the desired value and click the Click to bet section. The available chips are 0.1, 0.5, 1.5 and 10 credits. One more click adds one more chip. The bet ranges between 0.1 and 10 credits. You can combine different chip values to have the desired bet. The Cancel all bets button removes all chips from the game screen.

Starting the game

The Deal button confirms your bet for one round and starts dealing cards. In the French version of Blackjack, the dealer gets only one face-down card at first. You get two face-up cards. Depending on your hand, you can take one of the two main actions. The first one is to draw another card (or several cards) using the Hit button. You can draw cards until you decide to stop or the total value of your hand exceeds 21 points.

The second option is to take no more cards using Stand which is designed as a stop hand. Then, the dealer draws another card. Your and the dealer's hands are then compared. Your task is to have a hand with the value as close as possible or equal to 21 points. If you exceed 21 points, you automatically lose and see the Busted sign on the screen. The same rule applies to the dealer. When the hands are compared, the one with the higher value wins. If you have a draw, each of you gets your bet back and then the Push sign appears. When the first round ends, two additional betting buttons appear on the control panel:

• Last bet duplicates the previous bet. Clicking over again doubles the bet and so on
• Rebet & Deal duplicates the previous bet and simultaneously starts the new round.

The New game button lets you configure the bet again from scratch.

Split, Double Up and Insurance

You have some other options during the blackjack online game. If you get two cards with the same value, you can split them into two hands. Click the Split button to do so.  After the split, each hand plays according to the rules.  The game allows you to do a double split if you've already done one.

If the total value of two cards in your hand is 9, 10 or 11 points, you can double up your bet using the Double down button. So, you get a double reward in case you win. However, consider that you can draw only one card if you double up.

You can play the Insurance if the dealer's first card is an Ace. The pop-up window asks you whether you want to play Insurance. The Insurance costs a half of your bet and protects you from the dealer's Blackjack. If the dealer does have a Blackjack, you get paid your insurance in the ratio of 2:1 but you lose your bet.

Blackjack French Game Rules and Card Values

This game is played with a standard 52-card deck. The 2–10 playing cards have corresponding values. Jack, Queen and King have 10 points. Ace has 11 or 1 point depending on the other cards in your hand. Some of the game rules will come in handy for beginners:

• A Blackjack is a combination of two cards which has a value of 21 points. This combination pays 3:2 (x2.5 times the bet)
• If you split two Aces, each hand get only one more card. The dealer then begins to draw cards
• And has to score a minimum of 16 points per round. The dealer should stop drawing when they reach 17 points
