Free Spins of the Psycho Slot

When 3, 4 or 5 Scatter symbols land anywhere on the reels they will launch 10, 15 or 20 Free Games respectively. When Wilds appear during the Free Games, their multipliers are increased to 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 20 or 40 times and this multiplier appears under the Vacancy sign.

All spins are played with the same bet settings that were in place before the Free Games were activated and if 3 or more Scatters land, the additional Free Games will be added to those remaining. At the bottom of the screen in the message bar, you will see how many free games have been played and the winning amounts.

Symbols and Multipliers

When identical symbols land along an active payline, on neighbouring reels, starting with the first reel from left to right, they are considered to be winning. Only the highest win per line will be paid, if winning combos land on multiple paylines the winnings will be added. The Psycho™ slot has the themed symbols of Lila Crane, Detective Milton Arbogast, Norman Bates´ Spying Eye, an Envelope of Money and a Hotel Room Key, there are also playing card symbols 10, J, Q, K and A, their multipliers are listed in the paytable and apply to the bet per line.

Special Symbols:

• The Wild symbol is the word Wild, it has its own multipliers for combos of 2, 3, 4 or 5 symbols and can be used as a substitute for all other symbols, except the scatter. Winning combos that use the Wild symbol may additionally multiply the wins by 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 20
• The famous Psycho House is the Scatter symbol, it can land anywhere on the screen and awards its own multipliers for combos of 2, 3, 4 or 5 symbols which are applied to the Total Bet per spin. If you land a combo of 3, 4 or 5 symbols you will launch a round of 10, 15 or 20 Free Games respectively.

Gamble Round

When a winning combination lands, you can choose to collect your winnings, or gamble them in the Double or Nothing game. Click on the Spin button to collect your winnings, or the Gamble button to open the Double or Nothing game.

On the new screen you will see the famous Psycho house on the back of a face down playing card, to the right of it is four buttons with the different suits on them and the suit win amount and on the left is a Red button, a Black button and the respective win amount. Below is the card history and in the bottom right is a Take Win button.

If you choose red or black and are successful your win will be doubled. If you correctly choose one of the suits, your win will be quadrupled. If you are successful you can continue to repeat this process up to 5 times, or collect your winnings. If you are unsuccessful then you will lose all your winnings and return to the main game. To collect your winnings at anytime, click on the Take Win button.

How to Play the Psycho Slot

The control panel is located at the bottom of the screen, under the reels and has all of the controls and information for the Psycho game powered by NextGen. To set your bet from 0.01 to 2.50, you need to click on the red or blue arrows eitherside of the row of coins. You will be able to see your total bet amount, balance and the latest win amount in the relevant boxes.

To spin the reels once, you can press the large green circle with an arrow head in it, if you want to set up a series of up to 100 autospins then press the the smaller green circle that has circular arrows in it.  When using either of these options the button will change into a red stop button during the reel spin which you can use to stop the reels at any moment. If after a successful spin you want to gamble your winnings, then the button with a Heart and a Club will become active and needs to be pressed.

Click on the musical notes to turn the sounds on or off and if you want to read details about the features, look at the paytable and paylines then click on the i button. Directly beneath the reels you will see a message bar which displays themed messages throughout the game.
