The main feature of this game by Booongo is the special symbol. If the coloured star inside a coloured square symbol appears anywhere on the reels it will activate a free respin. Before the respin occurs the other two visible symbols on the same reel will turn into double symbols which remain on the reel for the respin. If they are involved in any winning combinations they will count as 2 individual symbols.

Symbols and Multipliers

If 3 or more symbols land on neighbouring reels, anywhere along an active payline, they will create a winning combination. Unusually combinations can be created anywhere along a payline, they can start from the leftmost reel, the rightmost reel or in the middle. There are 4 themed symbols, a multicoloured Gem, an orange gem, a free gem and a blue gem. There are also 4 playing card symbols. A, K ,Q and J and they all create winning combinations with 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 symbols. 

How to Play the Crazy Gems Slot

Once this game has loaded you will see a message bar across the top of the screen and the main playing area which has 5 reels with 3 symbols on each. Below the reels you can see the control panel which has the following buttons and controls:

• Total Bet - shows you current total bet amount which you can adjust using the arrows
• Lines - displays the number of lines which is fixed at 15
• Bet - displays the bet per line which cannot be adjusted but changes when you adjust the total bet amount
• Max Bet - selects the maximum total bet amount of 150 per spin
• I - opens the paytable, a description of the special symbols and shows the paylines
• A large green circle with a play arrow in it - spins the reels once with the current line and bet settings
