Polish designer Yggdrasil developed the Holmes and the Stolen Stones online slot themed to the adventures of Sherlock Holmes. The biggest multiplier of x4,000 is earned for the combination of 5 portraits of the main character appearing on one payline. However, this is not the largest possible amount you can win. Five icons of Free Spin or Bonus apart from free spins or a bonus game pay you 10,000 times the line bet.

Game principles of the online slot
The number of paylines in the Holmes and the Stolen Stones slot is fixed at 20. The only adjustable parameter is the bet per line. You can change it by using the +/- buttons found below the phrase Coin Value. Your total bet per spin is displayed in the Cash Bet section.
Two more sections are found in the right corner: Balance and Win. The former shows the amount of credits, and the latter — your latest win.
The spin starts after clicking the large central button with a circular arrow. You can help stop the spin quicker by using the same button again.
Max Bet sets the maximum bet of 40 credits with a single click. The button with a triangle icon and a circular arrow activates a series of auto spins.

The slot features two special symbols, eight regular icons and ten additional ones.
Special symbols:

Regular symbols are the pictures which form combinations of three, four or five icons on one payline from left to right and award the following multipliers:

Additional symbols are five multicoloured crystals which appear in the main and bonus games as well as five gems which only land during the free spins.
If you collect five crystals of one colour, ten free spins will be triggered. If you collect five gems of one colour during the free spins, one of the jackpots will be added to the win for combinations.
Bonus game and free spins
To activate the bonus game collect three or more Bonus symbols. Four or five of these icons pay 1,000 and 10,000 times the line bet respectively.
When the bonus mode is enabled, the game screen changes radically, 18 chests appear in it instead of the reels. After clicking the chest is shattered, and you can find a bag with the prize or crystals which will be transferred to the regular mode. The bonus game will continue until a smoke ball appears under one of the reels.
You can earn ten free spins in two ways: either by collecting three or more Free Spin symbols or five crystals of one colour.
You always get ten free spins, and four or five Free Spin or Bonus icons pay 1,000 and 10,000 times the line bet respectively.
During the free spins the gems land. If you collect five gems of one colour, you get the reward for the combo and jackpot which corresponds to the combination of gems.
If free spins are triggered without collecting five identical crystals, you will get one gem before the free spins session starts.
All the multipliers for combinations are tripled during the free spins.
