Game rules
You will initially get 5,000 coins in your account once the Forest Tale slot loads. These coins will be used to pay for the spins, for the line bets and for converting the coins into credits. Your line bet is 1 credit by default. Use the Bet window to set your total bet in coins — 15, 30, 75, 150 and 300. Click on one of them to launch the reels in the main screen. If you click this button again the reels will stop prematurely and your payouts for combinations will be added to your account. After that you will see the Gamble button that lets you play the risk game.
Forest Tale features 15 paylines. Hit one of the five buttons on either side of the reels to change this number. You can play 1, 5, 7, 10 or 15 paylines. The number of active paylines will affect your chances to get a payout for a successful combo. According to the game rules, winning combinations must land on the active paylines.
You will get the rewards for combinations of identical symbols landed on neighbouring reels starting with the first reel. If several winning combinations drop on the payline you will get the reward for the highest-paying one. You can see your win in the Last Win window. Your payout is calculated by multiplying your line bet by the factor of the payout for the appropriate symbol.
By clicking on the "i" icon you will open the paytable where the payouts are indicated in coins. Hit the Bet button to change the amount of payouts. This is where you will also see the brief information about all the bonus options featured in Forest Tale. Click on the Help button to open the help window.
Click on the button with round arrows to enable the autospin mode. You will play this mode with your preset bet value and the number of lines that you had selected. The risk game becomes unavailable during the autospins. Click the Autoplay button one more time to exit this mode.
Symbols and payouts featured in Forest Tale
Three special symbols may come up on the reels: the Wild, the Scatter and the Bonus. These will give you an access to the bonus rounds or simply increase the payouts for some winning combinations. You can view them in the paytable at any time.
The Wild symbol is the girl in a red hood that drops on all reels and performs two functions. By coming up on a payline with identical symbols already present, it substitutes for the missing picture and completes the winning combo. This way you will get more chances to combine the symbols that are not on the adjacent reels. If the Wild symbol drops following several identical symbols, it will increase your payout for the winning combo. When the Wild symbol is on a payline that does not contain any higher-paying combinations, it will earn you the appropriate payout. You will earn the following rewards for two, three, four and five symbols with the bet of 300 coins:
- 2 pictures of a girl — 200 coins
- 3 pictures — 2,000
- 4 pictures — 20,000
- 5 pictures — 100,000
Any combination with the Wild symbol will double your payout. Combinations of Wilds, Scatters and Bonus symbols are the exceptions.
The Scatter symbol is a basket with a bottle that lands on every reel and does not depend on any of the active paylines. You only have to collect three, four or five symbols anywhere on the reels to win the payout and access the bonus round. This is what you will earn when playing with the maximum bet:
- 3 Scatters — 600 to 2,400 coins and an access to the Forest House Feature
- 4 Scatters — 3,000 to 15,000 coins and an access to the Forest House Feature
- 5 Scatters — 15,000 to 60,000 coins and an access to the Forest House Feature
The bonus symbol is a picture of a house that says "Forest House". The symbol lands on the third, fourth and fifth reels only. You will earn a random number of free spins and multipliers for payouts.
Regular symbols will earn you different numbers of coins and will not perform any special functions. Three, four and five symbols in the winning combo will earn you the following winnings:
- Playing cards from Jack to Ace – 100, 400 and 2,000 coins
- A wolf, a well or a wreath – 200, 1,000 and 4,000 coins
The combos of two, three, four and five symbols of a hunter or a grandma pay 40, 400, 2,000 and 10,000 coins respectively.
The payouts are indicated for the maximum bet.
Risk game
By enabling the autospin mode and landing any winning combination you will get an access to the Gamble button. Click on it to activate the risk game. Your objective is to guess the card colour and double your payout for the previous spin.
In the middle of the screen you will see a face-down card. The Red and Black buttons to select the colour will be to the right. The remaining number of the rounds in risk game will be shown on the left side. Info tabs take the top of the screen:
- Gamble amount – your winnings earned for the most recent spin
- Gamble to win – the reward that you will be entitled to when you guess correctly
- History – your prior history throughout the gameplay
You can play this round five times in a row as long as you guess the colour correctly. The wrong answer will reset your win and take you back to the main screen.
Bonus game, free spins and progressive jackpot
The Forest House symbols landed on the third, fourth and fifth reels or at least three Scatters anywhere on the reels will grant you an access to the bonus round. You will see the new window with 12 baskets. Your key objective is to open them and collect bonuses. They can be of two types: free spins and multipliers of payouts.
You can win from 7 to 20 free spins and the multipliers from x1 to x5 for one round of Forest House Feature. If the Play icon appears once you open the basket, this stage of the bonus game comes to an end and you will play a series of free spins.
Free spins are played in the automatic mode. The values indicated in the Lines and Bet sections will remain the same as they were during the spin that had activated the Forest House Feature in the first place. Three more Bonus symbols will earn you the same number of free spins and multipliers as you received in the beginning of the round. Three Scatter symbols earn you a random payout in coins.
Once you use up all of your free spins, your rewards will be added up and if they do not exceed the slot's limit you can play these in the risk game. Otherwise they are credited to your account and you will go back to the main game.
In the full version of Forest Tale the Jackpot Cards Mystery round can be activated during any spin. 12 face-down cards will pop up on a new screen and you will need to keep opening them until you come up with three identical symbols. This slot features four progressive jackpots:
- Clubs — the first level with the lowest jackpot
- Diamonds — the second level
- Hearts — the third level
- Spades — the fourth level with the highest jackpot
If you win one of these jackpots, the amount will be credited to your account. You cannot play it in the risk game.
