How to play Jour de l’Amour

 Jour de l'Amour is a traditional slot with five reels and a panel with a minimum of controls. Making a bet is pretty easy. You only need to choose:

• The bet per line – Bet
• The number of payline – Lines

The developers have provided 9 options for the bet size — from 0.01 to 0.8 coins. To change the value, use the "+" and "-" buttons to the right and left of the section or simply hit the Bet button below it. The first option is more convenient because you can do more than raise or lower the bet.

The number of lines is also set by the "+" and "-" buttons or by clicking Add Lines. Lines, as already said, are 25. Their number changes step by step with each click of the button.

To the right is the Total Bet section which displays the size of the total bet. As the Bet or Lines figures change, it is recalculated automatically.  Under this section is the Bet Max tab. Clicking it automatically starts reel spins. But it sets to the maximum only the number of lines — 25. The value of the bet per line does not change.

If a spin was successful, you will see your reward in the green section Win on the right just below the reels. In turn, on the top right of the game screen you can found Balance: it displays the number of coins available to you. Initially, before starting playing the slot, you always have 500. We remind you that all coins are free for you and the demo version of the slot on our website does not require any real investments. It is intended only for getting familiar with the features of the gameplay.

Near Balance is a button with the image of the human silhouette. Clicking it, you get access to three options:

• Help
• History
• Logout

Help allows you to see the full text version of the game rules. History is not available in the demo mode.

On the left of the control console are buttons for starting auto spins. There is a big Auto Spins button there, and next to it 5x and 10x buttons are found. Using them, you can run the corresponding number of auto spins directly from the control panel. If you want more auto spins, you need to click the big button and in the pop-up window select the number of spins in the range from 5 to 1,000 using the "+" and "-" buttons.

After the bet is made, you can start spinning the reels by hitting Spin. During spins, it turns into Stop. This allows you to speed up spins by stopping the reels at any time. However, it has no effect on the result of a spin.

On the bottom left are two small buttons that show:

• A loudspeaker
• Four arrows

They let you:

• Mute the sound with the first button
• Maximise the game screen with the second button

Symbols and multipliers of Jour de l’Amour

The slot features both regular and special symbols.

Wild symbol

The Wild symbol in the slot is the silhouette of two cats with the moon in the background. This icon can replace any other in order to complete a winning combination. The exception is Scatter and Bonus symbols.

Regular symbols

In the Jour de l'Amour there are only seven standard pictures. Three of them are images of cats: a rich grey cat driving a cabriolet, a less wealthy but generous cat with full paws of gifts and a cat-lady dressed for a date. The other four symbols are ritual items for those in love:

• Bottle of champagne
• Box of chocolates
• Bouquet of flowers
• Packaged gift

The multipliers of many symbols are the same:

• Cats produce 4, 20, 100 and 500 coins for 2, 3, 4 and 5 pictures respectively
• Ritual love items — 5, 30 and 150

Scatter symbol and free spins

Scatter symbol is the image of Cupid. Three or more of these pictures trigger free spins:

• 3 symbols — 5 free spins
• 4 — 10 free spins
• 5 — 15 free spins

Bonus game

There are three bonus games in the slot. They are triggered if three or more images of a white cat appear along active paylines.

Goldfish Present bonus game

The game is triggered if three to five cat images on a pink background land on the reels. You must click the images of fish. Each click brings either coins or if a cross is found inside a fish instead of coins, ends the game.

Catch a Bird bonus game

The game is triggered if three to five images of a cat on a yellow background land on the reels. Terms are similar to the previous game.

Great Mouser bonus game

The game is triggered if three to five cat images on a green background occur. Terms are similar to the previous game.

Gambling round

After every successful spin, you can activate a risk game. There you can either increase or lose your winnings from the main game. Your goal is to guess the colour or suit of the card to be dealt. To make guessing easier, the History option is available — it allows you to see the cards that were dealt earlier. If you guess the colour of a suit, your win from the main game is doubled. If you guess the suit, your win is multiplied four times. But if you make the wrong guess, your win is reset and you automatically return to the main game.

After each successful attempt, you can stop the risk game, pick up the prize and return to the main game. In total, the risk game has five rounds (provided that all attempts are successful). However, there is a limit in the slot: the initial bet that allows the risk game cannot exceed one coin and the maximum payout in the risk round is also limited.

Graphics and music in the slot

Pictures on the reels and the game screen are reminiscent of the city of love — Paris. You will see tiled roofs and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The music matches the theme — romantic French melodies.
